About the Course or Event:
Beth Redmond, recent 2025 Graduate of the American Academy of Bookbinding in Fine Binding, will speak to us about her work. Beth is a member of our Chapter and lives in the San Francisco Bay area. She is also very active in the Hand Bookbinders of California and the San Francisco Center for the Book.

Beth Redmond
Beth Redmond is a contemporary binder dedicated to the art and craft of fine binding. In 2025 she received a Diploma in Fine Binding from the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, Colorado. Her bindings have been exhibited in the US and UK and are held in public and private collections. She shares her passion for making books by organizing exhibitions for the Hand Bookbinders of California and teaching bookbinding at the San Francisco Center for the Book. Beth also serves on the Board of the San Francisco Center for the Book.
